Every single day Singapore is driven by the power of office workers, who give all their effort to grow this country’s economy. This means that they are the main energy of the country.
At the beginning of the day, we usually drink cold brew coffee to awaken our mood and mind, and to give us the energy to work the whole day long. Cold brew coffee could be the symbol of the working community in Singapore.
This installation is decorated with coffee bottles. They light up the city after sunset as they light us up with energy during the day. This could be a gathering of the spirit of Singapore’s office workers.

LIVING SPIRITS is a collective who listen, observe, question, create conversation, and make connections with people through art.
We believe that everything in this world has two sides running in parallel. Our objective is to tell stories from the other side which can’t be seen with our eyes but only by our hearts. We want to invite everyone to participate and complete stories through interaction with our artwork. With the help of technology, we try to create the most meaningful interactions with our art.
WHY COLD BREW COFFEE BOTTLES
A symbol of the hardworking and resilient workforce. Coffee is an essential drink for many office workers in Singapore, who contribute to the country’s growth and success.
As a symbol of the hard-working and can-do spirit of Singapore’s workforce, 1,404 cold brew coffee bottles were collected to create this installation.
